Post Processing

There are several post-Monte Carlo processing tasks that can be performed with the VIM auxiliary codes:

• Group Collapse & Region Homogenization (RETALLY)
  This procedure can be used in the production of multigroup cross sections.
• Eigenvalue Statistical Re-analysis (KEFCODE)
• Tally Batch Condensation (REBATCH) ,
  useful if one is suspicious of reaction rate or flux uncertainty estimates because of possible loose neutronic coupling. Condensing batches into, say, superbatches of five or ten batches ought to increase the uncertainty estimates if loose coupling had caused underestimates of uncertainties.
