VIM Nuclear Data Libraries
The VIM data libraries consist of datasets (VIM Material Files), one for each nuclide at a specified temperature. If a different temperature is required, then a separate Material File is used for that composition. These datasets are processed only at Argonne, using a sequence of codes that are completely independent of other cross section codes, e.g., NJOY.
Description of the VIM Libraries
VIM reads the Material Files directly. The ENDF/B-VI and JEF2.2 files listed
here were not included with VIM Version 3.6, but are included with VIM Version
4.0.

- VIM Nuclides Available (Listed Numerically by VIM ID)

Accessing VIM Nuclear Data
The nuclear data libraries are accessed at the beginning of each VIM
calculation. Materials can be mixed from different libraries, e.g., ENDF/B-IV
Pu239 and ENDF/B-V H2O.
Using multigroup cross sections (ISOVIM)
Multigroup calculations can be performed using VIM Material Files in the
continuous-energy format, but containing piecewise-constant cross sections.
